Frequently Asked Questions – ICF Core Coaching Competencies

  • How can I get an ICF-ACC credential? 

    To earn an ICF-ACC credential, aspiring coaches must do the following. 

    1. Complete the coach-specific training at Coach2Reach as it meets all ICF’s requirements
    2. A minimum of 100 hours (70 paid*) of coaching experience with at least eight clients following the start of your coach-specific training. At least 25 of these hours must occur within the 24 months** prior to submitting the application for the credential
    3. Completion of the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA).
